Professional

During his freshman year, Yo worked as a Real Estate Acquisitions Summer Analyst at Section L, analyzing potential investments and acquisitions that the firm could make for various apartment-style and residential living properties. Over the summer leading to his sophomore year, Yo worked within the Debt Capital Markets group at SMBC Nikko Securities America in the New York office, assisting in the issuance and exchange of securities in the bond market. During his junior summer, he worked in the Global Markets Division as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Yo will be working full-time at Lazard as an Investment Banking Analyst.

Cornell

Outside of AKPsi, Yo is a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Board (DSAB) within the Hotel School as well as serving as an analyst for the Cornell Real Estate Consulting Club. In addition, he is an active member of the Japan-US Students Association (JUSA). He also serves as a TA for multiple classes, such as HADM 1740, HADM 4770, and HADM 2230.

Personal

In his free time, Yo likes to go to the gym and workout as well as socialize and hang out with friends. He also loves to ski and heads to the mountains whenever he is able to return home. Recently, he has picked up a new hobby of playing chess.
